My dog goes crazy for a TTouch massage. Perhaps ‘crazy’ isn’t the right word because the T-Touch makes her calm, relaxed, and as limp as a rag doll. The massage is a type of Swedish-style massage that moves from head to tail with slow circular motions.

Remember to bring plenty of water and be sure to check for ticks after the hike.

Remember those lazy, hot summer days where you just want to lie around and do nothing? Maybe look up at the sky and watch the clouds drift by, or look down at your feet and watch your dog sleep the day away? The term “Dog Days” conjures up such memories… Where did that term come from?

We can trace the origin of the expression “Dog Days of Summer” to ancient Rome, for it was believed from July 24 to August 24 a star by the name of Sirius rose and set with the sun. Sirius, also called the “Dog Star”, is the brightest star in the constellation Canis Major (“Large Dog”). Today, Dog Days of Summer lasts 40 days, beginning July 3 and ending August 11.
